Rainfall distribution in Australia

For a tank to justify the investment it must collect a sufficient amount of water for re-use. The table below shows the historical distribution throughout Australia’s major centres. South East Queensland, with rainfall of approximately 50mm even in the driest months is in a ideal climate to take advantage of rainwater harvesting.
