Here’s how the solar system works…
Your home remains connected to your electricity supplier, the power generated by your solar system is fed back into the grid, and the power you use comes from the grid. Your supplier bills you for the difference between Kilowatts used and Kilowatts generated by your Solar Power System, saving you money and lowering your family’s greenhouse gas emissions.
The amount of electricity your system generates will depend upon your location and the size of the system. Greensource can supply and install systems from 700 watt through to 6000 watt (6Kw)
Simple steps to installing solar power.
1. Quote/Consultation. Ring Green Source on 1300 69 7246 or (07) 3324 2200 to arrange an no-obligation, free quote. Deposit required upon order confirmation.
2. Green Source will send you all the relevant rebate forms for you to sign and return to us. We’ll submit them on your behalf. It may take 8-12 weeks to obtain rebate approval.
3. The Government will send you your rebate approval (and a copy to us) plus an ‘Installation Report Form’. You’ll sign this form and return it to us.
4. We’ll arrange an installation date with you.
5. Green Source will apply to your electricity supplier on your behalf, for permission to connect your system to the grid.
6. Green Source will submit forms to the relevant electricity supplier for metering change.
7. Once the installation is complete you will be sent an invoice for the balance outstanding. You will also be sent final forms to sign and return to claim your rebate.
